2009 BMW K1300S Review

For a while I’ve had an ambition to cross the US – from California to New York and then back to California – on a motorcycle. And I’ve been taking really long looks at the new versions of any sport-touring motorcycles out there – from the FJR1300 to BMW’s models.
I would definitely have to give the ’09 version of the new BMW K1300 some serious consideration, not only for its power, but for its utter stability (which is something my current steed lacks). I also have short legs, and the option for a lower seat height would be a welcome one for me.

I have the K1200S 2008 version, Love It! I also have the Helibars because we’re about the same size. The lower seat also helps. I had the DUC ST3 before and the K1200S kills it. There was a demo day today at my BMW dealership and I checked out the K1300S, I have read a couple of the reviews (yours) and I don’t see a need to trade in my black K1200S…mine has was more power that any road can handle…can you say rocket ship! I highly recommend the KS series bike to any serious rider.
Nice Los, it’s always sweet to hear from someone who actually owns one of these bikes to get the perspective from someone who rides one all the time. I’ve definitely been thinking about taking a demo ride but I’m afraid afterwards I would just sit down and sign on the dotted line without even haggling on price because I would want one so much!
